Fort Polk Wheelock Physical Fitness Center Building #3350 


Commissioning Services were completed for the HVAC equipment installation at the renovated Gymnasium Building #3350 located at North Fort Polk. The systems commissioned were one dedicated outside air unit, five chilled water air handling units, VAV boxes, air cooled chiller and chilled water pumps, and boiler and hot water pump.

Fort Polk DOL-TMP Facility


The project involved the new construction of the AMC TMP Support Facilities at Fort Polk Military Base. The construction consisted of three new facilities which housed the TMP Maintenance Facility, the TMP Dispatch, and the DOL BII Storage Facility. The mechanical equipment included AHU’s, fan coil units, and associated DDC controls. Commissioning services provide for this project included the HVAC systems, DDC controls verification, and test & balance verification.

Fort Polk Swing Space Repairs


The commissioning process for this project started in the construction phase. The project consisted of a renovation to the Fort Polk Swing Space. The mechanical equipment included eleven new exhaust fans, and associated controls. Commissioning services provided included HVAC systems, electric controls verification, and test & balance verification.

Fort Polk Military Working Dog Facility

The project involved the new construction of the Military Working Dog at Fort Polk Military Base. The construction consisted of a facility which 24 Military Working Dogs, staff administrative areas, veterinary exam room, multi-purpose day training room, food and material storage, and other areas for a complete training. The mechanical equipment included AHU’s, electric underfloor heating, lighting occupancy sensors, and associated DDC controls. Commissioning services provide for this project included the HVAC systems, DDC controls verification, and test & balance verification.

Fort Polk Bayne Jones Army Community Hospital

The Bayne Jones Army Community Hospital, built in 1983, is approximately 367,000 square foot 7-story building. The hospital is considered to be a full-service hospital.  The primary objectives of this retro-commissioning project were to improve environmental conditions, reduce complaints and breakdown maintenance orders, reduce energy usage, and specific chiller plant goals.  Systems included in the process were the HVAC controls system, the central plant, the chilled water loop, chilled/hot water AHU's and existing steam boilers serving the hospital.

Fort Polk Dining Facility Building #2383 and Gymnasium Building #2070

Although this commissioning process was performed as one project, it consisted of two separate buildings - a Gymnasium Building and a Dining Hall.  Both buildings systems commissioned were an indoor DOAS unit and DX condensing units.  The associated ductwork, piping, and controls were also part of the commissioning process.
